Maharashtra: Vidarbha’s Covid cases cross 2,000 mark in June; 1 death so far Nagpur News – Times of India

Nagpur: with 168 new covid cases and 62 recoveries, VidarbhaOn Wednesday, the caseload for the month of June crossed the 2,000-mark.
There were no deaths on Wednesday, while only one Covid toll has been reported from Gadchiroli district in the month. The active caseload has touched 822.
Over 6,000 tests were conducted in the region in the last 24 hours. Nagpur reported 62 cases and out of 1,647 tests, only 18 recovered. The district now has 465 active cases.
Less than 10 cases were reported in three districts but their active cases are still high.
Yavatmal reported a spike of 23 cases from 714 tests taking its active cases to 57.
Gondia and Yavatmal did not report any recovery. At 16, Gondia has the least number of active cases. The active cases of Buldana and Washim have gone up to 80 and 84 respectively. At the current pace, the cases may cross 100 in a day or two.
Some of the more than 822 active cases in Vidarbha are hospitalised. Some hospitalized patients in Nagpur required oxygen support, but it was limited to a few days. In the last few days, a patient was admitted in ICU. But severe patients with comorbidities have been cured.
Amravati: Eight new cases were reported in 175 tests conducted in the last 24 hours. Six cured in a day. The caseload of the district is 10,6057. Active cases have increased to 27.
Yavatmal: With the detection of 23 new patients out of 714 tests in the last 24 hours, active cases including two patients from outside the district have increased to 57.
Chandrapur: The active cases in the district increased to 57 on Wednesday after 10 more cases were reported in 468 tests conducted in the last 24 hours. Day three are reported to have recovered.
Wardha: Nine new cases of 168 tests and three recoveries have been reported in the district, in which 30 active patients are being treated on Wednesday.
