Directed by Trivikram, whose last project was the Allu Arjun-starrer blockbuster ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramulu’, the film has been tentatively titled ‘SSMB28’.
Production of Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film will begin in April, the makers announced on Thursday.
Directed by Trivikram, whose last project was the Allu Arjun-starrer blockbuster “Ala Vaikunthapuramulu”, the film is tentatively titled “SSMB28”.
The film also stars actor Pooja Hegde and is supported by S Radhakrishna under the banner of Harika and Haseen Creations.
The makers launched the film with a puja ceremony in Hyderabad.
“#SSMB28 Puja started today. Regular shooting starts from this April, 2022,” the production house tweeted.
The project will reunite Mahesh Babu and Trivikram after films such as the 2005 Telugu action film “Athadu” and the 2010 fantasy action comedy, “Khaleja”.
Hegde has also previously worked with the filmmaker in ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramulu’ and ‘Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghav’ co-starring Jr NTR.
Mahesh Babu will next be seen in “Sarkaru Vaari Pata”, which is slated to release in May.
