While the length of the XUV300 ICE SUV is less than 4 meters, Mahindra has revealed that the length of the XUV400 will be 4200 mm. The electric SUV measures 1821 mm in width, 1634 mm in height and has a 2600 mm long wheelbase.

In comparison, the Tata Nexon EV measures 3993 mm in length, 1811 mm in width, 1616 mm in height and has a longer wheelbase of 2498 mm.

Battery pack, charging time and range
Mahindra has revealed that the XUV400 will be equipped with a 39.4 kWh battery pack that gives a claimed range of 456 km on a full charge. This battery pack can be charged from 0% to 80% in 50 minutes with a DC fast charger.
The Tata Nexon EV Prime gets a 30.2 kWh battery pack which gives the electric SUV an ARAI-certified range of 312 km. The Nexon EV Max, on the other hand, gets a larger 40.5 kWh unit, which gives an estimated range of 437 km on a full charge. With a 50 kW DC fast charger, the Nexon EV Max can be charged from 0% – 80% in 56 minutes, while the Nexon EV Prime will charge from 10% to 80% with a fast charger in 60 minutes.
Electric Motor Specs
Mahindra has revealed that the XUV400 will be equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor that churns out 150 PS (110 kW) of power and 310 Nm of peak torque. This powertrain will help the electric SUV accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.3 seconds.
