official booking for Mahindra XUV700 Test drives in cities like Jaipur, Surat, Patna, Cochin, Cuttack, Kanpur, Calicut and Nashik have started from today. The company had already announced that the first 25,000 bookings received by the company would be able to take advantage of the initial pricing announced by the company a week ago. The price of the base MX variant starts at Rs 11.99 lakh. And the range-topping Mahindra XUV700 AX7 has been launched at ₹ 17.59 lakh for the petrol manual variant, up to ₹ 19.79 lakh for the top-of-the-line AX7 diesel automatic trim. That said, the company is also offering a luxury pack on the AX7 automatic for ₹1.8 lakh extra on the ex-showroom price, while the all-wheel-drive (AWD) system is available only on the diesel automatic, to buyers. It will need to spend ₹ 1.3 lakh more apart from the ex-showroom price.

Mahindra is offering the new XUV700 with both petrol and diesel engine options.

The Mahindra XUV700 is built on a new W601 monocoque platform and will be bigger than the existing XUV500 in every aspect. In terms of dimensions, the new SUV measures 4695 mm in length, 1890 mm in width and 1755 mm in height. So, it is 110 mm longer but 30 mm shorter in comparison to the XUV500, while the width remains unchanged. The wheelbase of the XUV700 is also 50 mm longer at 2750 mm. Upfront, it will get a new grille, which will have vertical chrome slates and MahindraWith new logo, new LED headlamps and twin C-shaped LED daytime running lights. The SUV will also come with new sportier alloy wheels, new flush-fitting door handles and flared haunches. The SUV will come with new wraparound LED taillamps, sculpted tailgate and beefy bumpers with silver cladding. While the lower variant of the Mahindra XUV700 gets 17-inch steel or diamond cut alloy wheels, the range-topping AX7 trim gets 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

On the inside, it gets a very well designed and premium cabin with big comfortable seats, premium upholstery and many smart features. It has Alexa support and a fully connected car technology called Adrenox, which comes with voice commands to access various in-car functions. Other premium features include a Sony-powered 12-speaker 3D surround sound system, six-way power adjustable seats with memory and welcome function, and a panoramic sunroof limited to the top-end variant only. The SUV comes with features like front, side and curtain airbags, 360-degree camera, ISOFIX seat mount, hill hold/descent function and electronic parking brake and Dynamic Stability Program (DSP).
