No doubt these makeup tips and tricks are super helpful and will come in handy whenever and wherever you need them

Large or open pores are like unwanted guests at a wedding which we hate. Most people seem determined to make their pores disappear. Unfortunately, your hives won’t disappear right away. However, they can disappear completely with the help of a good skincare routine and some important beauty techniques.

“Before starting any makeup you must follow some skincare routine which is clean your face thoroughly with a good face wash, use vitamin c face serum, moisturise your face well, And wear a really good sunscreen when you go out,” says the celebrity. Makeup artist Neha Chhabra is the founder of Keywest Academy of Beauty and Makeup.

Follow these steps step by step and then start makeup.

Tip 1: Primer is your BFF

One of the best magic tricks for large pores is primer. Instead of letting your makeup stick to your face and pores, use a primer to bridge the barrier between your skin and your makeup. With the right primer, you’ll be pore-free in seconds! However, a primer accomplishes much more than that. A primer evens out the skin, making it look more perfect. This is a must for large, open pores!

Tip 2: Matte-Base Foundation

Foundations with a dewy finish can make large pores appear larger. Foundation layers like a fluid and has a smoothing finish to conceal imperfections like large pores and uneven skin texture. Its long-lasting formulation is waterproof and sweatproof, so you don’t have to worry about ruining your makeup throughout the day trying to hide your large pores.

Tip 3: Hide with Concealer

After your matte foundation, a matte concealer can help you cover your large pores even better. Apply just a few dots on areas that need extra coverage and blend the product with a damp makeup sponge. When applying cream products, a blending sponge will provide smooth coverage, but a brush can highlight your large pores and add unwanted roughness.

Tip 4: Set With Setting Powder

A mini, translucent setting powder can help minimize pores and fine wrinkles while sealing in your makeup. If you want to minimize large pores, choose a translucent setting powder because the former provides more absorption, which can emphasize texture and pores.

Using your makeup sponge, dust a small layer of powder over your face. Let the powder soak in for a few seconds until the excess is brushed off.

Tip 5: Blush or bronzer your face!

Light shimmer face powder, like a lighting foundation, can draw attention to large pores. With a soft brush, apply blush to cheeks, then shape your face with a bronzer brush. Avoid using lotions and liquids for your bronzer, blush, and contour. Lotions and liquid products, although pretty (we know!) and easy to use, tend to sink into pores.

Not only does this make pores appear wider, but it also causes the cream to get ‘trapped’ in the pores, making them visible. Powder formulations work best for cheek makeup when you have large pores! After all these steps you should use setting spray. A setting spray keeps makeup in place, making it harder to move. People with large pores can also benefit from it. When you use a setting spray, your makeup doesn’t spread and sets in your pores.

Trust it, it will do wonders for you. Your skin will look flawless when you step out. This won’t remove makeup that shows your large pores.
