Police Circle Inspector G. A team led by Gopakumar on Saturday arrested a 42-year-old man on suspicion of being involved in a series of cases of vehicle lifting in Kozhikode and outside the state. Kuttichira resident KV Hamdan Ali was arrested on the basis of surveillance camera footage and call detail records collected from various places. Police sources said he was involved in the theft of 14 motorcycles in Kozhikode district alone. The investigation team recovered 12 stolen vehicles.
