Police have arrested a 28-year-old man for allegedly stabbing his relative to death after a brawl at a wedding ceremony in Pulianthope.
The deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Rajendrababu, a resident of Ambedkar Nagar in Pulianthope. On Monday night, he had an argument with his wife Daya. When a relative named A Satish intervened, Rajendrababu attacked him with a stone. In retaliation, Satish stabbed Rajendrababu in the neck. He was taken to the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital, but was declared brought dead on arrival. The accused was arrested.
