Man masturbated 4 times in front of female passenger in flight, arrested

A man was arrested for allegedly masturbating in front of a female passenger at least four times during a three-hour flight from Seattle to Phoenix. The man, identified as Antonio Sherrod McGarrity, reportedly pulled his pants down and began masturbating shortly after a Southwest Airlines flight.

The accused was arrested after the flight landed at Sky Harbor International Airport on April 2.

Meanwhile, McGarrity told police that he had done nothing wrong and actually “thought it was strange”, according to the complaint filed in the case, reports the Daily Beast.

The complaint states, “McGarrity was seated in seat 11F and the female witness was seated in seat 11E. Shortly after takeoff, and while the plane was in the air, McGarrity exposed her penis by pulling down her pants and shorts and started masturbating.

According to reports, when the woman sitting next to him noticed his indecent behavior, they started taking pictures of McGarrity. Later, when McGarrity fell asleep after masturbating for about an hour, the woman reportedly told a crew member about the incident. The flight crew immediately changed their seats.

The complaint states that when the Southwest Airlines flight landed in Phoenix, police officers interviewed the woman, who reiterated that she had masturbated to McGarrity “on four separate occasions, using both her left and right hands.” I had seen doing

The accused is facing federal charges as well as a life ban from Southwest Airlines.

McGarrity was interviewed by Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents. The accused allegedly confessed to his behavior during the flight.

The complaint states that the accused claimed that he had asked the female passenger if she masturbated.

“According to McGarrity, the female witness put her hand in the air and said, ‘It doesn’t really matter,'” the complaint noted.

It further stated that McGarrity thought the reaction was “kind of weird” and believed the woman was comfortable masturbating with him.

Meanwhile, following the incident, Southwest Airlines has reportedly imposed a life ban on McGarrity, the Daily Beast reported.

“On April 2, we received a report from SEA of inappropriate customer behavior on PHX flight 3814. The situation was reported to crew members during the flight, and the captain contacted law enforcement to meet with the aircraft upon arrival,” the airline said.

“We immediately put the passenger on our no-fly list, which resulted in a lifetime ban on travel to Southwest,” a Southwest spokesperson said.
