Man orders pizza at salad-only wedding, bride finds groom sneaking a slice

Weddings are one of the most memorable moments in the life of couples. Indian weddings in particular are a grand affair, with many aspects taken into account – the guest list, the decor, the couple’s attire and even the food. Every wedding is believed to have a lavish buffet spread, with a wide variety of food and plenty of cuisine options. What would be your reaction if a wedding you attended only served salad to the guests? Exactly the same happened with a 36-year-old man who had attended the wedding of his old friend Sara. He was surprised to find only a salad served as a main meal, and decided to order a pizza for himself instead.

The post was shared on Reddit by user u/pizzaweddingthrow. He narrated the whole incident and asked the opinion of a Reddit user whether he did the right thing or not. At first, he explained that the wedding was an eight-hour event consisting of a ceremony and later a reception. Then, he said he had to take his medicine and that he needed to eat food. then he came to know that wedding was vegetarian and served only salad with corn and broccoli. “The whole event was going to be over 8 hours and I knew a little salad and a few tablespoons of corn and broccoli were going to catch me (I’m 6’2),” he wrote in his post.

Thus, he decided to take matters into his own hands and order pizza for himself and eat out in his car. Word spread and at least 12 other wedding guests also joined the plan to eat pizza in their car. It all goes smoothly until the bride Sarah can find her groom and finds him eating pizza too. “Nobody noticed anything until Sarah found the groom anywhere. She had helped her mother find her and as you can guess she found him by eating her out of my car PizzaThe man revealed.

Reddit users reacted to the post and voted on whether the 36-year-old did the right thing. Most people assumed he was right to order pizza. The comments sparked debate over the fact that couple Was using the word ‘vegetarian’ on the pretext of serving less food. Several others said that they could have served several other items that were also vegetarian so that a Reddit user would not have to order a pizza to fill himself up.
