A Bengaluru man’s choice of a potential roommate in his rented flat on Bannerghatta Road has taken the internet by surprise. In a tweet that is going viral, a person named Sankeerth said that he had a special requirement as to who should be the roommate.
He said he wished his new roommate was a “potential co-founder”. Notably, Sankeerth’s Twitter bio states that he was also the founder of three companies and had worked with firms such as Dunzo in the past.
“Looking for flatmate (we can be potential co-founders if we wish) for a semi-furnished flat near Bannerghatta Road. Gated Society W. Gym, pool, pet dog, fish, greenery. Available: July. No brokerage. Rent: 8.3k/month,” he tweeted. He also posted four pictures of the flat along with the amenities, stating that it would be available from July. Further, he informed that there would be no brokerage and the monthly rent would be Rs 8300.

Since being shared, the tweet has received several likes and comments. While some people were happy with his tweet, others were shocked by the monthly rent. Several people also expressed interest in becoming his roommate.
