Mandaviya lays foundation stone of various health facilities at AIIMS Patna

New Delhi Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya on Sunday laid the foundation stone of various health facilities at AIIMS Patna and inaugurated a state-of-the-art auditorium in the medical institute.

The foundation stone was laid in the presence of senior officials of AIIMS Patna and Bihar government.

Mandvaiya is on his three-day visit to Bihar to launch several products in the health and pharma sector.

“Inauguration of state-of-the-art auditorium and laying of foundation stone for various facilities at AIIMS Patna, Bihar,” Mandaviya tweeted.

“AIIMS, Patna is not only treating the patients to the residents of Bihar but is also imparting medical education to the students. AIIMS Patna ensures accessible and affordable health services to its people,” Mandaviya said while addressing the gathering at the event.

Meanwhile, Mandaviya also inaugurated the National Food Laboratory of the Food Standard Safety Authority of India (FSSAI) in Raxaul. The facility has been introduced under the India-Nepal bilateral agreement to reduce the time taken for testing of imported food samples brought from Nepal to Raxaul.

Apart from this, the Health Minister interacted with the beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) and also distributed Ayushman cards.

Health Minister @mangalpandeybjp and Bihar State President @sanjayjaiswalMP were present,” informed Mandaviya in a tweet.

The Health Minister on Saturday launched Liquid Chromatography with Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS-MS) lab facility at National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hajipur.
