Agartala: Manik Saha will take oath as the 11th Chief Minister of Tripura today. The swearing-in ceremony of the Council of Ministers will be held on May 15 at 11:30 am at Raj Bhavan, Agartala.
69 years old Dr. SahaiA Rajya Sabha MP, Deb was named as the leader of the BJP legislature party hours after his resignation.
Meanwhile, BJP leader Biplab Kumar Deb resigned from his post on Saturday. After submitting his resignation to the state governor Satyadev Narayan Arya, he said that he has served the people of the state with all his heart.
Deb was sworn in as the first Chief Minister of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Tripura in 2018.
Polling in Tripura is to be held by March next year.
