Manipur Class 10 Board Exams Begin

An official said that the results of the evaluation, which is being conducted in 158 examination centers in the northeastern state, will be declared in the second week of May.

The official said that the results of the evaluation being conducted in 158 examination centers in the northeastern state would be declared in the second week of May.

Private schools have the highest number of examinees at 28,477, followed by 8,130 in government schools and 1,520 in state-aided institutions.

Chief Minister N Biren Singh extended best wishes to those appearing for the examination.

“Please don’t take unnecessary pressure. Exams are a part of life but certainly not the determining factor of success. Give your best and results will follow”, said the Chief Minister.

Meanwhile, the District Magistrates of Thoubal, Kangpokpi and Bishnupur have imposed prohibitory orders under Section 144 of CrPC between 8 am and 1 pm within 100 meters of examination centers till April 3.

This order will not apply to government machinery involved in law and order enforcement, teachers and examinees involved in conducting examinations.
