Maruti Suzuki Alto STD, LXi, and LXI CNG Variants Discontinued

maruti suzuki is silent off three types of alto The hatchback brand has dropped the Std, LXi and LXi CNG variants from the Alto line-up. Maruti Suzuki Alto The hatchback is now offered in five variants, which include Class (O), LXi (O), LXI (O) CNG, VXi and VXi Plus.
As the standard variant has been discontinued, the price of Maruti Suzuki Alto now starts at Rs 3.39 lakh. The sole Alto LXi(O) CNG variant sells for Rs 5.03 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom.
At heart, the Maruti Suzuki Alto is powered by an 800cc petrol engine, which produces 47 bhp power and 69 Nm of torque. The Alto CNG variant generates 40 bhp power and 60 Nm torque. A five-speed manual transmission is available as standard across the range.
As far as the interiors are concerned, the Maruti Suzuki Alto comes equipped with a host of features like 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, keyless entry, reverse parking sensors, central locking, dual front airbags and front and rear cup holders.
Introduced in 2000, Maruti Suzuki Alto is the best selling car of the brand till date. The Maruti hatchback got a facelift in 2012 and has been around since then. Maruti Suzuki has sold around 43 lakh units of the Alto hatchback in India since its inception. Alto continued to be the most popular car from 2005 to 2018 before being replaced by Maruti Dzire.
For July 2022, Maruti Suzuki is offering discounts of up to Rs 25,000 on Alto, Swift, Wagon-R, DZire, Celerio, S-Presso excluding the Ertiga facelift MPV.
