New Delhi: maruti suzuki On Wednesday, the Celerio 2021 facelift was launched, with prices starting at Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Celerio will be available in three trims and in manual and automatic variants. The company is also developing a CNG variant of the Celerio.

Celerio is the first Maruti The Suzuki portfolio car will receive a new engine update in the form of the next generation K-series engine, which delivers an industry-leading fuel efficiency of 26.68 kmpl (ARAI).

The 1-litre, K10C engine, which also includes an idle start-stop function, produces 48kW and 89Nm.
Maruti Suzuki introduced the Celerio in the Indian market at the 2014 Auto Expo, and the through hatchback has sold over 5.9 lakh units in total so far.
The 2021 facelift is built on the 5th generation Hartec platform and its width has increased by 55 mm.
Design changes on the 2021 Celerio include a new radiant front grille with a chrome line at the top. The Celerio offers the option of 15-inch wheels and Maruti claims that a few body changes have been made to enhance the appeal.
The cabin is a center-focused design with 7-inch SmartPlay studio in the middle and vertical AC vents. The driver is also greeted with a brand new display.
The safety suite includes 12 key features including dual airbags, hill hold assist and reverse sensor.
