Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) in 2022. has launched S-PRESSO At a starting price of Rs 4.25 lakh in the Indian market, which goes up to Rs 5.99 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom). The entry-level car gets several new features compared to the outgoing model, along with a new powertrain that is more fuel efficient than before.

New Maruti Suzuki S-Presso Electrically adjustable wing mirrors in VXI+ and VXI+(O) variants get electronic stability program with hill hold assist across all AGS variants. Other safety features like dual airbags, ABS with EBD, force limiter front seatbelt with pre-tensioner and front seatbelt reminder, high-speed alert system, reverse parking sensors are standard across all variants.
Power New S-Presso There is an updated K-series 1.0-litre dual jet, dual VVT engine with idle start-stop technology. This engine makes 67 PS of maximum power and 89 Nm of peak torque, and is offered with a 5-speed MT as well as an optional AGS transmission. The 2022 S-Presso delivers a claimed fuel efficiency of 25.30 kmpl on the VXI(O)/VXI+(O) AGS variant, 24.76 kmpl in the VXI/VXI+ MT and 24.12 kmpl in the STD/LXI MT.
Maruti Suzuki claims that over 2,02,500 units of the S-Presso have been sold in the nearly three years since its arrival in the Indian market. The entry-level tallboy hatch is rivaling the Renault Kwid as well as its own sibling, the Maruti Suzuki Alto.
