maruti suzuki India reported its total sales of 1,75,916 units (domestic + exports) in July 2022. The company recorded domestic sales of 1,45,666 units and export sales of 20,311 units last month.
The brand says that the lack of electronic components had a minor impact on the production of the vehicles, mainly in domestic models. Maruti Suzuki further said that it has taken all possible measures to minimize the impact.
The company’s total sales in the ‘Mini’ segment stood at 20,333 units. alto and the S-Presso. sales of Maruti Suzuki BalenoCelerio, Ignis, Dzire, Swift and Wagon R sold 70,268 units. Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Sales stood at 1,379 units. Utility vehicle sales stood at 23,272 units Ertiga, BrezzaThe S-Cross and XL6 increased sales.
Maruti Suzuki sold 13,048 echo units in July 2022, while the Super Carry LCV registered sales of 2,816 units last month. The firm revealed that 9,939 units were sold to Toyota under the Toyota-Suzuki partnership.
After a few months of low sales, Maruti Suzuki has registered a significant increase in monthly sales. 2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and XL6 boosted sales in the MPV segment, while the Alto and S-Presso increased the sales numbers for the brand.
Recently, the brand has also discontinued Maruti Suzuki S-Cross And around the festive season 2022 will launch the Grand Vitara SUV. Also, Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch the new Alto towards the end of this August 2022 which will further boost the sales volume.
