material:

  • Poha – 1 cup
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric – 1 tsp
  • Sugar – 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Chana dal – 1 tsp
  • Urad dal – 1 tsp
  • Whole red chili – 2-3
  • Peanuts – 1/4 cup
  • Cashew – 10-12
  • a pinch of asafoetida
  • Ginger (finely chopped) – 1 tsp
  • Green chili (finely chopped) – 1 tsp
  • Onion (finely chopped) – 1/4 cup
  • Carrot (finely chopped) – 1/4 cup
  • Green peas – 1/4 cup
  • curry leaves

method:

Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, chana dal, urad dal and whole red chillies.

After this add peanuts, cashews, a pinch of asafoetida, ginger, green chilies, onions, curry leaves, carrots and green peas.

– Beat this mixture well. Meanwhile, wash the poha in a bowl.

Drain the water in the poha and add turmeric, sugar and salt.

Mix it well and add it to the mixture cooked in the pan.

Mix both the things well.

You can use grated coconut and fresh green coriander for garnish.

And, it is ready to be served.
