Actor Meena’s husband Vidyasagar passed away on Tuesday at the age of 48 in Chennai.
As per reports, Vidyasagar contracted COVID-19 in March 2022 and was cured. However, he soon developed a lung infection and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital. His health deteriorated on Tuesday.
Vidyasagar, a businessman, married Meena in 2009. Their 11-year-old daughter Nainika is known to have followed in her mother’s footsteps and debuted as a child artist in the Vijay-starrer. theri, Meena started her career as a child artist in 1982. Friends, family, fans and celebrities have expressed their condolences on social media. Vidyasagar’s body will be cremated at 2 pm today.
