Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a full-fledged two-day visit from today and will be part of the swearing-in ceremony of three newly formed states in the region. Neiphiu Rio of the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) (Neiphiu Rio) and Konrad Megha of the National People’s Party (NPP) (Conrad Sangma) Today Nagaland and Meghalaya Subscribe as a member. Mahant told that after attending the swearing-in ceremony in Shillong, PM Modi will leave for Kohima and he will be present at the swearing-in ceremony of the new government of Nagaland. In Nagaland, NDPP and BJP alliance has added 37 out of 60 connections.
The Prime Minister will return to Guwahati tomorrow itself at 5 pm and will hold a meeting with the Assam cabinet at the state guest house here at 7.45 pm. He will rule at 9.40 am to take part in the swearing-in of the Manik Saha government and return to Delhi from there. Saha has been declared the leader of the BJP Legislature Party in Tripura.
The Assam minister did not divulge the plan for Tuesday’s cabinet meeting with PM Modi but is expected to review all workings.
