The Summer of ’69, by Bryan Adams, has been, is and will be a part of our playlists. Recently, a video of a man singing this hit number at an event has gone viral. What’s viral about it, you ask? The person singing the song was the Chief Minister of Meghalaya.
In the video, the 12th Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad Kongkal Sangma, with a mike in hand, is seen doing a great job with the song, with a full band set in the background. It is clearly visible in this that CM Sangma is enjoying fiercely while performing on pop rock songs.
The video was shared by a journalist, who wrote in the caption, “Where else do you find the CM with the rock number, only in #Northeast. Here is @SangmaConrad kicking off the summer of ’69 on a nipple evening in Itanagar.

This is not the first time that CM Sangma has showcased his talent in front of the netizens. Apart from singing such a good song, she also knows how to play a riff or two on the guitar. Taking to Instagram, he shared snippets of his guitar playing skills. In one of the videos, he is seen playing the tunes of Iron Maiden’s Wasted Years.
