It is again that time of the year when the Southwest Monsoon enters India. For the past few days, parts of Maharashtra and Karnataka have been receiving extremely heavy rainfall. And, along with the heavy rains, social media platforms are flooded with monsoon-related memes.
For example, explaining that Mumbaikars are torn between waiting for the monsoon to arrive and the floods to end, a user shared a hilarious video of a man running down a river and said, “People in Mumbai see the onset of monsoon. Me vs people in Mumbai when the rain doesn’t stop for days!”

In view of heavy rains in Karnataka, All schools and colleges The coastal areas of the state have been closed.
Similarly, on Sunday, the Met Office asked residents of Mumbai to take precautions for the imminent heavy rains, adding that the city would receive heavy rains in the next two or three days.
