Mercedes-Benz unveils the Citine electric commercial van

The current model of Citran will be the last with an internal combustion engine.

Mercedes recently unveiled a commercial van called the Citon and is now launching an electric version of the same called the e-Sitan which will launch in the second half of 2022. Interestingly, the vehicle is born out of a partnership between Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi and is technically the same vehicle as the Renault Kangoo ZE which is also known as the Renault Kangoo Van E-Tech Electric. The existing Citan will be the last to be based on the internal combustion engine and all models will be EVs in the future.
