Mercedes hits woman in Delhi’s Anand Vihar, fractures her leg

A 27-year-old woman suffered a fracture in her leg after being hit by a Mercedes car in east Delhi’s Anand Vihar area. The police gave this information on Monday. The incident took place around 3.45 pm on Sunday when the woman was hit by a car, which was also driven by a woman.

According to the police, the victim, Akshita Agarwal, a resident of Jhilmil, was waiting for a rickshaw to go to Karkardooma Metro Station with her younger sister in front of Gate No. 4 of Rishabh Vihar.

Meanwhile, a black Mercedes car came from Vivek Vihar side and hit Ms. Aggarwal. Police said the impact threw him to the ground and as it happened, the driver landed on his right leg.

He said the driver, though she came out of the car, fled the spot after seeing Ms. Aggarwal crying. Ms. Aggarwal noted down the registration number of the car.

A case has been registered against the driver under sections 279 (rash driving) and 338 (causing grievous hurt to the life or personal safety of others) of the Indian Penal Code at the Anand Vihar police station, police said. Has gone.

A senior police officer said that the matter is being investigated.
