MG Motor India installs its first community EV charger in Jaipur – Times of India

MG Motor India Recently established and inaugurated the first two residential community chargers at Raj Angan Society (NRI Colony), Jaipur (Rajasthan). This is a part of the automaker’s plan to set up more charging stations in Jaipur.
As a part of MG Charge initiative, the automaker will install 1,000 AC fast chargers in residential areas across India in 1,000 days.
Installed Type 2 chargers are SIM-enabled and supported via a shareable charger management system, Connected AC charging stations will cater to the needs of the residents and visitors of these societies EV Charging need, 24*7 operation.

The brand says that it will provide end-to-end guidance, coordination and support for the installation process, saving cost for selected residential societies.
MG Motor India currently has a plug-and-charge cable onboard, an AC fast-charger (installed at the customer’s home/office), DC superfast charger at MG dealerships, public charging network, 6-way charging ecology with charge-on system provides. On the go with RSA (Roadside Assistance) and Community Charger.
Apart from this, MG has recently partnered with Jio-Bp BPCL To add momentum to EV adoption by expanding the opportunities for intercity travel while setting up EV charger On highways and in cities, as the brand claims.
As of now, MG Motor India retails it ZS EV It is currently the only electric offering in the Indian market. That said, the automaker plans to introduce its second EV nationwide by 2023.
