Mi Emirates ropes in Kieron Pollard, Dwayne Bravo, Trent Boult will smack for ILT20

MI Emirates today announced their squad ahead of the inaugural edition of the UAE’s International League T20. The team will be based in Abu Dhabi, and will include a mix of current and past MI players.

West Indies all-rounder duo Kieron Pollard and Dwayne Bravo along with current white-ball captain Nicholas Pooran will join MI Emirates’ star-studded squad along with New Zealand pacer Trent Boult.

Among the catchy signings is Will Smed, who recently made history by becoming the first player to score a century in England’s The Hundred.

The players have been contracted in accordance with league guidelines and local players from the UAE will be added to the squad in the near future.

Earlier this week, MI announced the name and identity of MI Emirates, a team dedicated to fans across the emirate’s geographic regions.

MI Emirates of the International League T20 of the United Arab Emirates and MI Cape Town of the T20 League of South Africa are set to join the MI family in 2023.
