All-rounder Michael Bracewell played a special unbeaten 127 to help New Zealand secure a one-wicket win over Ireland. Bracewell single-handedly won the game for the Black Caps by scoring 127 runs, including all the 20 needed in the final over to secure a one-wicket victory.

Earlier, Harry Tactor’s maiden ODI century helped Ireland post 300/9 to give a tough challenge to their opponents. The innings was headlined by a scintillating century from his No. 4 Tector, which came at a crucial stage to arrest a slide.

Ireland did not start well. The outside edge was found on the very first ball of the innings but Paul Stirling managed to survive as the ball diddge the slip fielders to run to the boundary.

Tector took over after the dismissal, and the likes of Lorcan Tucker and George Dockrell also made appearances with useful cameos. Tector eventually completed his maiden ODI century, but he was part of a mini collapse that blew New Zealand to death. However, their hopes of capitalizing on the collapse were dashed by Simi Singh’s quick fire of 30 runs as Ireland reached 300.
