Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella Joins Grow As Investor, Advisor

Grow Co-Founder and CEO Lalit Keshare tweeted, “Grove has been blessed with one of the best CEOs in the world as an investor and advisor. Thrilled to join @satyanadella in our mission to make financial services accessible in India ” However, he did not disclose the financial details of the investment.

Grow had raised USD 251 million (approximately Rs 1,885 crore) in October last year in a funding round led by Iconic Growth, which valued the mutual fund and stock investment platform at USD 1 billion.

Investors such as Alcon, Lone Pine Capital and Steadfast also participated in the funding round. Grow’s existing investors Sequoia Capital, Ribbit Capital, YC Continuity, Tiger Global and Propel Ventures also participated.

In April 2021, the digital firm had raised USD 83 million (about Rs 615 crore) in a funding round led by Tiger Global. Grow enables users to invest in Stocks, Mutual Funds, ETFs, IPOs, Gold etc. Starting from 2017, it claims to have over 15 million registered users.
