Mike Tyson reportedly developed an interest in tennis because of his 12-year-old daughter, Milan, who trains for several hours a day and wants to play on the professional tour.

Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson has reportedly developed a sudden interest in tennis thanks to his 12-year-old daughter, Milan, who trains for hours a day and is serious about playing on the professional tour. The 55-year-old, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time, has been quoted as saying that Milan is very disciplined and diligent with his tennis, and is proud of someone in his family who Professionals like sports.

“He (Milan) is disciplined in himself. She wakes up, cooks, takes a bath and goes to the gym every morning at 7 or 8.”

“She stays there till 4 pm. She is very hardworking and she wants to do that. I’m very proud to have someone in my family who understands that sometimes things don’t go your way,” Tyson said.

Tyson has been seen cheering on his favorite players, especially world No 1 Novak Djokovic and American tennis legend Serena Williams, in the crowd at the recent US Open and Indian Wells.

He recently posted a video of Serena teaching boxing and wrote, “Wouldn’t want to be in the ring with this GOAT @serenawilliams.”

Tyson also posted a video of American teenager Coco Gauff training in her craft in 2019 and tweeted, “Goat of the future 15 year old WTA @CocoGauff. A wonderful example of kindness, courage and penance. See what she does in 2020.”

In addition to reaching the French Open quarterfinals this year, Gauff made it to the fourth round of the Australian Open in 2020.
