A minor fire accident took place at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant here in the early hours of Saturday, December 25, 2021.
As per initial reports, the incident took place when there was a minor explosion after two tur jams at Blast Furnace-2, Krishna. This caused the hot metal to spread on the shop floor.
VSP officials confirmed that there were no casualties or casualties. VSP officials said work would resume at BF-2, later in the day, after the shutdown, VSP officials said.
