HyderabadTwo were arrested late Thursday night for raping a minor girl in Hyderabad for two consecutive days. The girl was taken to two hotels and was intoxicated.

The accused have been identified as 26-year-old Syed Naimath Ahmed and 20-year-old Syed Ravish Ahmed Mehdi.

The incident came to light after a complaint was received from the minor girl’s mother that her 14-year-old daughter left the house on September 12 at around 7.45 pm and did not return. He suspected that some unknown person had kidnapped his daughter.

Police officials confirmed that the accused raped the victim in two hotels.

“Both the accused are residents of Shah Colony and took her to Sujna Stay Inn Hotel (0Y0) and Three Castles Deluxe Lodge (OW), where both raped her by giving them narcotics. Based on the statement of the victim, the accused persons were ACP Mir Chowk, G Prasad Rao said, “Arrested at his residence today. He admitted that he was guilty of the crime during interrogation.”

The survivor, a minor girl, has been sent for medical examination. A case has been registered under relevant sections including 376 DA IPC and section 6 r/w 5 of POCSO Act. Further investigation is being done.
