Not everyone can say there was a superhero ‘crash’ in their interview, but today, the ETimes earned special bragging rights when Ms. Marvel aka Iman Velani A “surprise!” swoon with!

“I thought it would be a moment,” Iman said, apparently getting used to the over-the-top view glasses that come with having a miracle great actor. Seeing as she ‘surprised’ us, the 19-year-old prefers to stand behind her co-stars Matt Lintz, Yasmine Fletcher And Rishi Shah Those who found it difficult to keep a straight face in their seats with their friend and leading lady are now joining the ‘amazing’ chat with them.

Since Bollywood and Shah Rukh Khan play a major role in Kamala Khan’s superhero story, we asked the group who is the biggest fan of Hindi cinema. Rish Shah, who played the role of the mysterious Kamran, became the undisputed winner of this round. “I, a thousand percent,” he said and Yasmin couldn’t agree more, “it must be the sage.”

In the second episode Matt’s character Bruno announces “I like Baazigar”, which prompts us to ask the hunk if he had actually seen the 1993 Shah Rukh Khan film. “No!” He confesses and when Iman asks him to ‘tell the DDLJ story’, he continues, “I haven’t seen it. In that (scene) I randomly said that (line) because I thought it was It would be funny and then we just went with it. But I saw a Bollywood film and thought it was cool.”

Telling her co-star’s little white lie, Iman says, “No, she didn’t.”

Bruno and Kamran may not have much bromance in the Disney+ Hotstar series, but Rish came to their rescue and said, “DDLJ is not our favorite film, Shah Rukh Khan’s, we have others.”

When asked to make his picture, he said, “Main hoon na, kabhi khushi kabhi gham, there are many, not just DDLJ.”

Since Bollywood films played a big part in Kamala’s life as a South Asian who grew up in Jersey, we had to ask Iman if she shares any similarity with her on-screen character. “I grew up watching Bollywood movies but he (Risha) reconnected me with them,” Vellani said.

The series also gives us a refreshing and empowering female pair, who are Muslim, brown and unattainable about it. We asked Yasmin and Iman how they hope the stories of Kamala and Nakia will help young girls embrace their identities, especially in a world that idolizes the Kardashians. Yasmin explains, “I think something cool about our relationship is that it’s very similar to the way we are in real life. I think guys really like to see an actual female friendship.” And that’s not dramatic or over the top and relatable like, ‘Yeah! I talk to my friends like that’.”

“And no toxicity,” Iman says.

Where the teens are, there will be a bit of romance and drama, so we asked Rish Shah to spill tea on Kamran’s relationship with Kamala and if there is more to the character than what we see on the surface. Rish says, “You are right. There is some kind of mystery to him, I guess we will have to wait and see what happens. But throughout the series, Kamran acts as a foil to Kamala. works and he is very close to his mother. And he (Kamala) is obviously very close to his family and his mother, so there is a similarity in the relationship. But, let’s see what happens. Have to stay.”

With just two episodes down and many more to go, including joining the big leagues in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we asked newly inducted MCU cast members if they had a chance to meet their superhero idols. “I’ve met a couple…” Iman says back blushing, to which Yasmin says, “He’s beaten us all.”

While Matt was happy to meet the ‘Spider-Man’ star tom hollandRish thinks meeting ‘Loki Star’ is ‘fantastic’ Tom Hiddleston, Yasmin, on the other hand, shares a very close bond with her MUC heroines. ,Xochital Gomez Who plays America Chavez and May calamavi (Moonnight actress) are really good friends of mine and they are both beautiful people.”

Before signing on, we also asked the group what was the best part about working together, to which Matt said, “I think it’s camaraderie. We’re all really close in real life and these Being able to work with people, every day and all day, is just something we love, so…”
