According to reports, a case has been registered against Harnaz Sandhu in Chandigarh through Advocates Karan Sachdeva and Irwan Neet Kaur. Reportedly, after winning the Miss India pageant, Sandhu was signed as the lead artist of ‘Bai Ji Kuttange’ and entered into an agreement with Santosh Entertainment Studios LLP.
The terms of the agreement included Harnaaz’s availability during the film’s promotional period. The parties agreed that Sandhu would make himself available for both personal and virtual events to promote the film. However, Harnaaz has reportedly not fulfilled his obligations and commitments. Reports also suggest that he has ignored all communications from the production house and concerned stakeholders. His absence from promotional events has hurt the film, as distributors have abandoned the film. Earlier, the release date of the film was also changed from May 27, 2022 to August 19, 2022.
Upsana Singh while talking to a media portal said that Kaur wanted her first film as a producer in Punjabi as Punjabi is her mother tongue. However, now she thinks Punjabis are small people and feels that she is for Bollywood and Hollywood projects.
Upasana also said that she guided Harnaaz wholeheartedly for her first Punjabi film, and she is deeply hurt by his behaviour.
