MLA asks BJP workers to make efforts to capture all assembly seats of DK in next elections

Mangaluru City South MLA D. Vedavyas Kamath on Saturday asked members of 20 BJP cells to work hard to ensure victory in all eight seats in Dakshina Kannada in the next assembly elections.

Addressing members of various cells of the party’s Dakshina Kannada unit at a convention here, the MLA said the members of the cell should apprise the people about the projects and welfare schemes launched by the state government.

He said that the central and state governments have taken up several projects, such as widening of Mangaluru-Karkala National Highway section, BC Road-Adda Hole National Highway section, and widening of BC Road-Punjalakat Highway section, among others.

“Now Mangaluru got projects worth ₹3,500 crore during the BJP rule,” he said.

BJP’s Dakshina Kannada unit president Sudarshan Moodbidri said that the party has now registered its presence from the gram panchayat level to the parliament level. But many people still do not know much about the policies and ideals of the party. The workers should take it to the people for the benefit of the party in the next assembly elections.

Pratap Simha Nayak, MLC, and others were present.
