New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday that the Indian Economy is gaining momentum, reflecting the basic principles and reforms of the Government of India. he was speaking after the budget webinar On ‘Financing for growth and aspirational economy’.
He asked the financial institutions to come up with innovative and futuristic financing as well as risk management ideas to meet the emerging needs of the economy.
Stating that the implementation of green financing is the ‘need of the hour’ to meet the net-zero carbon emissions target by 2070, Modi He said that financial assistance should be given to eco-friendly projects.
PM Modi said, “Our funding sector has to look at new futuristic ideas, initiatives and think of innovative financing and sustainable risk management ideas.”
PM Modi on Tuesday underlined the importance of building digital highways for rural India, tailoring financial inclusion products to rural needs.
He also stressed on the need to identify 8-10 sectors in which India can be among the top three globally and asked financial institutions to extend credit support. The Prime Minister also said, “We have opened up the drone, space and geospatial sectors. This has opened up huge possibilities for our youth. We need to work towards taking India among the top three countries in the world in such areas.” Needed.”
Modi also asked bureaucrats to come up with ‘actionable solutions’ to implement 2022-23 Union Budget Proposal
He said the country was investing heavily in health infrastructure and asked banks to look into the possibility of prioritizing credit to the sector.
He said that if banks give priority funding to exporters, it will strengthen them and help in the self-reliant India programme.
He said that we have to be proactive to ensure that the Union Budget 2022-23 is implemented on time.
