Modified Maruti Suzuki XL6 is an adventure-ready MPV with THAR capabilities: View

The Maruti Suzuki XL6 is sold through Maruti Suzuki’s premium Nexa range of outlets, and is based on the company’s much-loved MPV – the Ertiga. Interestingly, the XL6 has an SUV-spec theme, with chunky body cladding, upright nose, flutter bonnet, roof rails and scuff plates at both the ends. All this, in fact, helps the Maruti Suzuki XL6 look the part. However, a digital tuner – Zephyr Designz – took the XL6 to the extreme end of the tuning spectrum. Well, the designers have modified the XL6 to look more masculine and curvy, while it is now all set to take on any terrain.

The tuner shared photos on Instagram, in which it can be seen in a stance that would put every other MPV to shame with buchness. On the nose, the most prominent change is the offroad bumper, which also gets a winch. The radiator grille is finished in black and sports marker lamps, which further enhance the appearance of the car. Other elements such as scuff plates around the chin and a set of auxiliary lamps on the ceiling, are fixed with the ceiling box.

Moving to the sides, this modified Maruti Suzuki XL6 rides on a set of aftermarket alloy wheels that are mated with offroad-spec rubber and they are specially designed for rough terrain and feature beadlocks. Moreover, the rock sliders are fixed with neatly designed footsteps. The rear fascia has also not been left unattended. It gets a tailgate-mounted spare wheel that is mated to a tandem car carrier. Apart from this, a spoiler can also be seen around the rear.

Since this is a digital rendering, nothing can be changed mechanically under the hood. However, the artist has used a solid axle at the rear, while the front end now gets revised suspension geometry as well. These changes help lift the modified Maruti Suzuki XL6 off the ground.
