The Official Trailer for Money Heist Korea-United Economic Zone is here! It is the Korean adaptation of Netflix’s hugely popular Spanish series Money Heist (La Casa de Papel). It is set to premiere on June 24. According to Deadline, the original crime thriller, written by Alex Pina, ran for five seasons and followed a group of criminals who commit a series of robberies. The Korean version, executive produced by Pina, is set against the backdrop of the reunification of North and South Korea and focuses on the Professor (Yu Ji-tae), who arrives from Tokyo (Joon Jong-seo) with a plot to win $4 trillion. . The series is directed by Kim Hong-sun and written by Ryu Yong-jae, Kim Hwan-cha and Choe Sung-joon, and was initially announced in November 2020.
