Monsoon rains will be seen over Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu in the next 3-4 days. Full IMD Forecast

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Monday that the monsoon may advance into the northeastern states in 3-4 days. The statement further said that the southwest monsoon is likely to cover more parts of Bay of Bengal in 3-4 days.

The IMD also said that there is no significant heatwave condition across the country during the next 5 days.

Progress of Southwest Monsoon

Conditions are favorable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into some parts of Central Arabian Sea, Reaming parts of Kerala, some more parts of Tamil Nadu, some parts of Karnataka and some parts of South and Central Bay of Bengal. Huh. Bengal and Northeast states during the next 3-4 days.

During the next 5 days, moderate rain with thundershowers very likely over Kerala, Mahe and Lakshadweep, with chances of lightning and scattered rain very likely over Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.

– Heavy rain is also likely over Mizoram and Tripura and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during 30th May-3rd June, Assam-Meghalaya during 31st May-2nd June; In Arunachal Pradesh during June 1 -3

Heavy rain is very likely over Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu on 30th and 31st May and Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka on 2nd and 3rd June.

Moderate rainfall is very likely over Northeast India and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, and isolated to scattered rain and thundershowers very likely over Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal over the next 5 days.

Fishermen have been advised not to venture into these areas.
