Jaisalmer: Thousands of devotees from different parts of the country are visiting Ramdevra temple in the district and are very impressed with the cleanliness and arrangements of the area. So far more than 25 lakh devotees have reached here on the instructions of the District Collector. Tina Dabik, Village Panchayat And the district administration has made all arrangements to keep the area clean. This time the entire cleaning has not only been digitized but 300 workers and 600 volunteers are also cleaning the entire area round the clock.
Dabi said, “After the stampede incident” Khatu Shyam Sir, we have taken many precautionary and necessary steps to avoid any such mishap. We have opened the temple for 24 hours for the first time this year to reduce the delay. Every arrangement in the fair is being closely monitored.
Talking about the arrangements, he said that the zig-zag arrangement inside the temple complex has been strengthened, in which 7500-8000 people can stand in a queue. Six exit gates have been installed to come out of the temple.
fair Magistrate Rajesh Bishnoi said that the entire fair complex has been divided into three zones and around 300 workers are doing cleaning work in three shifts. 90 sweepers have been appointed in each zone and they are working round the clock. He said that along with the sanitation workers, 400 volunteers are also helping in maintaining cleanliness.
A team with vehicles regularly inspects the premises and captures street cattle and drops them at the nearest Gaushala in Bhadariya.
