MoS V Muraleedharan meets Sikh veterans of Malaysian Armed Forces

Kuala Lumpur [Malaysia]June 2 (ANI): Minister of State (MoS) for External Affairs V Muraleedharan met members of Malaysian Armed Forces Sikh Veterans Association (MAFSVA) in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, lauded their valor and courage.

Muraleedharan tweeted, “Delighted to meet the committee members of the Malaysian Armed Forces Sikh Veterans Association (MAFSVA) in Kuala Lumpur. Appreciate their bravery and courage.

During his tour, he also met and interacted with the officials of Netaji Welfare Foundation and Netaji Seva Kendra. The MoS appreciated his efforts in preserving the legacy of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in Malaysia.

After the meeting, Muraleedharan posted on his Twitter, “Delighted to interact with the office bearers of Netaji Welfare Foundation and Netaji Seva Kendra in Kuala Lumpur. Appreciated their efforts in preserving Netaji’s legacy in Malaysia.”

The MoS also met with workers from India in various sectors in Malaysia. He interacted with them on their experiences and assured them of India’s continued commitment to their welfare and well-being.

“Delighted to interact with workers from India working in various sectors in Malaysia. Discussed their experiences at their workplaces and their overall well-being. Assured the continued commitment of the Government of India to their welfare and well-being,” Muraleedharan tweeted.

Earlier in the day, he met members of the All Malaysia Malayali Association (AMMA) in Kuala Lumpur and appreciated their role in promoting socio-cultural engagement between India and Malaysia.

Taking to Twitter, the MoS wrote, “Delighted to meet with the committee members of the All Malaysia Malayali Association (AMMA) in Kuala Lumpur. Glad to hear about AMMA’s various activities in enriching the lives of the Malaysian Malayali community.”

Appreciated his role in promoting socio-cultural engagement between India and Malaysia, the MOS said.

The MoS also met with the Vice President and committee members of the Malaysian Indian Congress in Kuala Lumpur, thanking them for their continued support for nurturing closer ties between the two countries.
