Silicon Valley leaders hailed Elon Musk’s management of Twitter, with Netflix co-founder Reed Hastings calling the billionaire “the bravest, most creative person on the planet.”
Meta Platforms CEO Mark Zuckerberg said Wednesday that he looked forward to seeing how Elon Musk would handle Twitter’s content moderation, arguing that it was good for the platform to take different approaches.
“You can agree or disagree with what Elon is doing, or how he’s doing it, but I think it will be very interesting to see how it works out,” Zuckerberg said at the New York Times DealBook conference. “
“I don’t think everything is working, but I think some things can work,” he said.
Hastings said Musk differs from his own management style, but added: “I’m 100% sure he’s trying to help the world with all he’s doing.”
The Netflix co-founder said Musk believes in free speech and its role in a democracy.
