Motorola Edge 30 Ultra with 200MP camera, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip launched: All details – Times of India

Motorola was the first smartphone brand to join Samsung’s new 200MP ISOCELL HP1 sensor with its X30 Pro smartphone launched in China last month. The company has now announced a slightly modified version of the X30 Pro in Europe: Motorola Edge 30 Ultra In which there is a primary camera of 200MP. Along with this, the company has also launched Edge 30 Neo and Edge 30 Fusion.
Motorola’s Edge 30 Ultra has a 200MP primary sensor
Motorola Edge 30 Ultra comes with the same 200MP ISOCELL HP1 sensor which is a 1/1.22-inch sensor that supports 12.5MP with 16-in-1 pixel binning and 2.56µm pixel size, for 50MP shots with 4-in-1 pixel binning. Supports and also full resolution 200MP shots. The sensor has f/1.9 aperture and supports optical image stabilization (OIS).
Apart from this, the smartphone also comes with a 50MP ultrawide sensor with 114-degree field-of-view with f/2.2 aperture and a 12MP portrait lens with 2X zoom.
The smartphone can shoot 8K resolution video at 30fps, 4K video at 60/30fps and FHD video at 60/30fps. Apart from this, the phone also supports 4K HDR10+ video at 30fps and FHD slow motion video at up to 960fps.
On the front, the Edge 30 Ultra features a 60MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 0.61µm pixel size and 1.22 µm of quad pixel technology.
Motorola Edge 30 Ultra: Price
Motorola has priced the Edge 30 Ultra at a starting price of €900 (approximately Rs 72,153) for the 128GB base variant and is now available for purchase in two color options – Interstellar Black and Starlight White.
Motorola has not yet confirmed anything about launching the smartphone in other regions. However, we expect it to roll out to other regions soon.
Motorola Edge 30 Ultra: Specifications
Motorola Edge 30 Ultra flaunts a 6.67-inch Endless Edge Polard display with FHD+ resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The display also supports HDR10+, 10-bit color gamut and has 1250 nits peak brightness.
The handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of storage.
The smartphone runs Android 12 operating system out-of-the-box. It houses a 4610mAh battery that supports 125W TurboPower wired fast charging. The handset also supports 50W fast wireless charging. The company claims that the 125W fast charger can give 12 hours of use in just 7 minutes of charge. It also supports 10W wireless power sharing.
The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra comes with a dual stereo speaker setup backed by Dolby Atmos and is powered by a linear X-axis vibration motor.
