Mourning Rajinikanth pays last tribute to Sarath Babu before funeral, mob thrashes him; Watch

Rajinikanth was seen visiting Sarath Kumar’s house hours before the actor’s funeral. However, he was greeted by hordes of cameras.

Tamil superstar Rajinikanth visited Sarath Babu’s house after the actor’s death. The actor, fondly known as Thalaiva, met Sarath’s family on Tuesday and paid his last respects. After the meeting, Rajinikanth spoke to the media and remembered the late actor as a ‘good man’.

“He (Sarath Babu) was a good person. I never saw him angry. All his films were huge hits. He had a lot of affection towards me. I am saddened by his demise.” Watch the video below to control the crowd:

Sarath Babu passed away on Monday morning in Hyderabad. He was 71 years old. Sarath Babu was keeping unwell for the past few weeks and was undergoing treatment at AIG Hospital in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. The last rites will be performed on Tuesday 23 May at 3 pm.

The South Carolina superstar was being treated for multi-organ failure. There were reports that Sarath Babu had contracted sepsis, which affected the functioning of his kidneys, lungs, liver and other organs. This was Sarath Babu’s second hospitalization in recent weeks. Earlier he was admitted to a hospital in Chennai.

After his demise, Rajinikanth was among the first stars to pay tribute to the actor. “Today I lost my close friend and a wonderful person Sarathbabu. This is an irreparable loss. Chiranjeevi, who worked with Sarath in several films, also expressed his condolences to the family. “The news of Sarath Babu’s death was shocking.
