MPBSE 10th, 12th result date soon, know the major changes introduced by MP Board this year

Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) The MP Board Class 10 & 12 Result is likely to release very soon. The MPBSE 10th, 12th results are expected to be declared by the end of April or the first week of May on the official websites mpresults.nic.in and mpbse.nic.in. The exact result date may be announced by the MP Board in the coming week.

This year around 18 lakh students appeared in the 10th and 12th board exams conducted by the MP Board. The evaluation of MP 12th board copies has been completed to a large extent. It is being told that 1.30 crore copies are being evaluated by about 30 thousand teachers. Declaration of result is likely to be delayed due to errors in question papers. Some wrong questions were found in the combined paper of total six subjects of class 10th and 12th.

MPBSE conducted the 10th examination from February 17 to March 12 and the class 12 examination from February 18 to March 10. However, it is not yet clear which class result will be released first or will be declared simultaneously.

Additional chance to submit practicals, internals

This time the MP Board had given schools an additional opportunity to submit the details of practical and internal assessment marks of classes 10th and 12th. Schools that had not submitted details of practical and internal assessment marks of class 10th and 12th were to submit by April 10.

While 80 marks will be allotted for theory subjects, the remaining 20 marks will be for practical and project tasks. For practical having subjects, 70 marks will be given to theory part and 30 marks will be allotted for practical assessment.

Pre-Board Exam in Take-Home Mode

Pre-board exam was conducted in take-home mode This year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Class 10 exams were held from January 20 to 28 and class 12 to January 31. The students were called to the schools in different slots and were given question papers and answer sheets before the exam. They had to solve the exam at home as per the given schedule and submit the answer sheets back to the schools. To ensure that the students do not have to visit the campus multiple times, 2-3 question papers were provided to the candidates at the same time.

Exam Pattern Changed

MPBSE Introduced the proposed new pattern in the new education policy (NEP) 2020. The question paper of both the classes consisted of 40 percent objective type questions, 40 percent subjective and remaining 20 percent analytical type. Earlier only 25 percent questions used to be objective type.
