Muhurta Trading 2022: Date, Stock Market Timings, Other Details You Need to Know

Muhurta Trading 2022: The stock markets (NSE and BSE) will open for one hour for Diwali Muhurta trading on 24 October 2022. As per the notice available on BSE and NSE, trading in Equity, Equity and Derivatives segment will commence and will take place at 6:15 PM. End after an hour at 7:15 pm. The pre-open session will start at 6:00 PM and end at 6:08 PM. The matching timings in the Muhurta trading session will be from 6:08 PM to 6:15 PM. However, the trade modification in the call auction will end at 7:45 PM. All trades executed in India Share Market The settlement obligation will result in Diwali 2022 Muhurta trading session.

The Muhurta Trading Diwali 2022 session in the Commodity Derivatives segment will also start at 6:15 PM and end at 7:15 PM. However, trade modification will be available till 7:25 PM.

In currency derivatives segment also, Muhurta trading 2022 timings will be from 6:15 pm to 7:15 pm and trading modification in currency derivatives and IRDs will be possible till 7:25 pm. Trade modification in cross currency derivatives will also be available till 7:25 PM. Trade cancellation requests can be made up to 7:30 PM.

In the Securities Lending and Borrowing Segment (SLB) segment, the Muhurta trading timings on Diwali 2022 will be from 6:15 PM to 7:15 PM.

Muhurta trading is practiced to mark the beginning of the new Samvat 2079. That’s when the traditional trading community opens its books of account.

After losing three consecutive sessions, the Indian stock market is in a green zone with almost two and a half hours left in Wednesday’s session. NSE Nifty has gained 63 points to reach the level of 17,046, which is above the psychological level of 17,000. BSE Sensex is up 254 points at 57,401 points. Nifty Bank index is also trading at the level of 38,856 with a gain of 144 points. Among sectors, PSU, energy, oil and gas, auto, IT and tech stocks showed interest on Wednesday, while consumer durables, infra and financial segments are in the heat of sell-off.
