Mukesh Ambani detained by Mumbai Police for threatening calls

Mumbai:

Mumbai Police today took a man into custody for threatening Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) Chairman Mukesh Ambani and his family.

Officials said the man, identified as Afzal, made three-four threatening calls to a landline number at Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai’s Girgaum this morning.

Officials said the suspect was traced after police identified the phone number from which he had made the call.

Preliminary investigation reveals that the caller is mentally unstable.

A case has been registered and at present the police is interrogating the man.
