The Mumbai Traffic Police has issued an advisory as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the city today, June 14. PM Modi will visit Maharashtra on Tuesday, where he will inaugurate and inaugurate Jagatguru Sreesanth Tukaram Maharaj temple at Dehu in Pune. Bhushan Bhawan and the Revolutionaries’ Gallery at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai.
Prime Minister’s Office said that at around 6 pm, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the bicentenary festival of Mumbai Samachar at the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai. PM Modi will also inaugurate Jal Bhushan Bhawan and Revolutionaries’ Gallery at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai. Jal Bhushan has been the official residence of the Governor of Maharashtra since 1885.
As a result, some roads leading to Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) will remain closed, while traffic on some roads will be diverted, a Mumbai Traffic Police official said.
He said, “In view of the VVIP movement on June 14, 2022, traffic arrangements have been made from the point of view of security.
Citizens are requested to take alternate route. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused,” wrote Mumbai Police.

There will be no entry for all types of vehicles going from BKC Connector MCA, Ground, Close Gate No. 3, ONGC Building Chowk to Jio World Centre, US Consulate, Trident Hotel and Kurla via MTNL Junction.
2. There will be no entry in vehicular traffic from Kurla Razzaq Junction, MTNL Junction, Platina Junction, Trident Junction to Jio World Center and BKC Connector.
alternative route
1. Vehicular traffic passing through MCA Close Gate No. 3, ONGC Building. Square. Trident Hotel, Sofitel and the US Consulate will take a right turn from ONGC Bhawan and proceed through Videsh Bhavan, Ambani School Parking and Tata Sanchar Bhawan, MTNL. Junction towards Kurla.
2. Vehicle traffic from MCA Close Gate No. 3, ONGC Building Chowk to Jio World Center via US Consulate will take a right turn from American School and proceed towards Trident and Sofitel Hotels.
3. Vehicular traffic from Kurla Razzaq Junction, MTNL, Platina Junction, Signature Suntec and Jio World Center towards BKC Connector will take a right turn at American School Ambani School Parking and a left turn from ONGC Building towards BKC Connector Bridge and NSC Junction.
All these traffic rules will be applicable between 4 pm to 8 pm. Apart from tight security at BKC, additional police personnel will be deployed on various roads
