Mumbai Police may issue third summon to Shahrukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani

Mumbai Police has informed that it may issue third summons to Pooja Dadlani, manager of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan. He was issued a second summon seeking more time. “Now, the third summons can also be issued. So far 20 people have recorded their statements in the drug-on-cruise extortion case,” said Mumbai Police, according to ANI.

Last week, Dadlani was issued summons by the Mumbai Police for questioning in an alleged extortion case that came to light during the probe into the cruise drugs bust case.

“His statement is important for the SIT and we will call him again for questioning in the times to come,” police said.

The SIT team of Mumbai Police is probing the allegations of extortion against Dadlani in the cruise drugs case.

An alleged drugs party was busted on October 2 by an NCB team on the Cordelia cruise ship. A total of 20 people were arrested including Shahrukh’s son Aryan Khan.

Aryan was later granted bail by the Bombay High Court. Independent witness Prabhakar Cell had last month claimed that he overheard NCB witness KP Gosavi discussing a pay-off deal. 25 crores with D’Souza over the phone after Aryan Khan was arrested by the anti-drug agency.

Earlier, D’Souza had claimed in his pre-arrest bail plea filed before the Bombay High Court that Gosavi had 50 lakhs from Shahrukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani for the release of Aryan Khan. The application states that the amount was returned after NCB arrested Aryan Khan in the case on October 3.
