The upcoming film by Jayam Ravi and female superstar Nayanthara will have music by composer Harris Jayaraj. The project, tentatively titled Eraivan, is helmed by director Ahmed and is going to be an action thriller.
Known for working in films like Minnale, Ghajini and Vettaiyadu Vilayadu, Harris Jayaraj took a break from the industry in the last few years. Jayaraj has also composed music for the upcoming Tamil film The Legend, starring Saravanan Arul and Urvashi Rautela.
Jayaraj has been selected for IrIvan. Jayaraj will reunite with Ahmed through this film. The two had earlier worked together in the romantic drama Andrendrum Punnagai. The shooting of the film was delayed due to COVID-19, but the makers managed to complete the shoot after the restrictions were eased.
According to a report in Times of India, Jayaraj has started working on the songs of Iraivan. Furthermore, it was reported that the film has a romantic track and will have three songs. Jayaraj will be composing songs in Eraivan, which will be similar to his work in Vettaiyadu Vilaiyadu.
Jayaraj recently released the first song of his music album Vaadi Vaadi after much anticipation. The music video was released on 29 June and featured Komali fame Ashwin and Anju Kurien along with Kuku. The cinematography in the song was done by RD Rajasekhar while Viveka worked on the lyrics.
Harris Jayaraj is a seasoned musician who has cemented his name in the Tamil film industry. He has 6 Filmfare Awards in the South under his belt and has been nominated for 20 Filmfare Awards in the South since 2001.
He started his career as a musician in 2001 and has given many hits since then. Adhavan, Thuppakki, Satyam, Engeyam Kadhai, and Anniyan are some of the films to which Jayaraj has contributed.
