The FIR was registered after the Supreme Court on Monday ordered the Punjab government to register an FIR on Khan for attempt to murder within 24 hours.

On Sunday, Khan had said that an FIR has not been registered over the failed “attempt to murder” on his life as officials are refusing to register a case unless he removes the army general’s name from the complaint. .
